J’ai obtenu mon Doctorat en Anthropologie à l’Université de Bayreuth, Allemagne. Je suis Professor au Department of Sociology and Social Anthropology, Faculty of Economic and Social Studies, University of Khartoum (lecteur depuis 2012) et actuellement vice-directeur du Peace Research Institute, Université de Khartoum.
Mes domaines d’intérêt dans la recherche visent les relations de pouvoir dans le développement, les rapports Etat/société, et les questions autour de la production de connaissances et leurs pouvoirs sous-jacents analysés du point de vue anthropologique.
Je suis membre de l’équipe pédagogique du programme de recherche CliMigraForm en partenariat entre l’Université Paris 8 et l’Université de Khartoum.
